I am primarily interested in syntax and its interfaces. Most of my research focuses on Malayo-Polynesian languages and indigenous languages of the Caucasus.
Research interests: argument alignment, polysynthesis, ergativity, fieldwork methodologies, case and licensing, syntactic locality, linguistic typology.
My non-linguistic interests include my dog Boonie, circus arts, British comedy, archeology, history, and exploring local landscapes.
